Scotchi

Well, here we go… The very first project is gonna be an upgrade for my current PC desk. At the moment, I can’t even take a picture of it because it’s just simply a mess… Cables everywhere, PC case can’t even be closed (cable management virtually nonexistent), 150cm long and still tiny for me…. As always, the first thing I’ve done was to turn on Blender and created a simple 3D model, just so I’ve got some idea what I’m doing. Later this was converted to a cutting list. So far, so good. I've also managed to get some cutting done and after putting it together… well, suffice to say “that shape.. What the hell was I thinking.. Next time, I’m doing a simple box!”  I'm gonna wrap the whole thing in nice vinyl, so it could still work. For putting it together, I'm planning to use wood glue and pocket-screws, so that should be more than enough.

Creating the very first post - mostly for testing :) However, some bits and bobs about this blog. I’m mostly doing this for myself, to keep track of the projects, both I have done in the past and those I am working on right now. This blog is purposely made public, so perhaps others may benefit from all the mistakes I make:)
